Lodewijk serves clients primarily in the life sciences and private equity industries, leading strategy and transformation programs across the value chain with a focus on TechOps improvement initiatives.
Previous experience
Prior to Genioo, Lodewijk was a founder of Fresh Wind, a venture focused on investments in operating wind farms. He also co-founded Clean Returns, a management consulting firm focused on clean tech and renewable energy.
Lodewijk spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on a number of industries including pharmaceuticals, private equity, energy, and sovereign wealth funds.
Lodewijk has a strong track record of supporting PE portfolio companies by helping them to deliver on their value case through rigorous problem solving and engagement of the combined client and consulting teams. He has been a leader in achieving transformation change in both Fortune 500 companies as well as midsize pharma and generic players.

Education
Lodewijk earned an MBA with Distinction (Focus on Finance and PE) from INSEAD, an MSc (with Distinction) in Management Science & Operational Research from Warwick Business School and an MSc in Medical Biology from Utrecht University.
Languages: Native Dutch, fluent in English, with conversational abilities in German
Interests
When not working at Genioo, Lodewijk enjoys being in the mountains skiing or hiking with his family. He is keen to rekindle his passion for polo as well.
